The organizing principle of hierarchy has been one of many frameworks that human consciousness has evolved in and has been expressed within the old and waning paradigm of polarity.
Everything from how we create and co-create realities, the fabric of society and other social units, how we perceive ourselves, others and life, how we process sensory information, our psyche, mythology and fairytales – to name a few – are heavily structured according to position and ranking.
Any form of evolution starts at the bottom or beginning and rises up, changing vibration, density and consciousness until it reaches the pinnacle of what is possible within its morphogenic blueprint.
Belief systems, including religious, spiritual, philosophical and political ones, are strongly anchored in a hierarchal construct. In most cases the individual has to adhere to the rules of an ideology. In the political arena one has to follow a leader and upper echelons. Often, the member of a party has to step in with the party line instead of being guided by his own conscience. The need for or maintaining power, greed and manipulations are always at play in an hierarchal organization.
Faith is a journey of seeking, of praying, of hoping and believing in rather than knowing…. a god or goddess, a deity, angel, prophet or any divine being is perceived as somebody above oneself who possesses greater power, wisdom, love and can change one’s life for the better. The term “hierarchy of light” has been well used and believed in throughout many spiritual communities and doctrines. However, calling upon the “light” always includes inviting “shadow” because both are interconnected and don’t exist without the other.
To unwind from hierarchal structures is an aspect of the great metamorphosis from polarity consciousness into unity is-ness.
It is an intense endeavor because it means to step out of the hypnosis of survival and the need to give up one’s sovereignty and thriving to fit into a structure that promises safety but only maintains the status quo without being flexible and able to evolve.
It also means that we have to embrace the deeply imprinted distrust in ourselves as well as the disconnect from our inherent divinity. The profound shame caused by the illusion that we have sinned and destroyed paradise has locked us in the loop of prostration and subservience to a higher power.
No human being is lesser than any being with or without a physical body. We are all equal and divine.
It is time to move from the vertical line of the cross onto the horizontal one. It embodies equality, unity and the realization of the divine within. Then we don’t wait to be given to by a higher being but receive one’s inner fulfilledness, harmony and one-ness with all that is…at that moment physicality becomes the manifestation of unity and one-ness…
