HARMONY

We live in a reality that is seemingly out of balance, not only on a global level, but also collectively and individually.  So many strive to be in harmony to change their lives and well-beingness, to protect oneself from the turmoil of these times.  Yet, what does it truly mean?  Some would describe it as being peaceful and happy, with no negative emotions or reactions.  To be without judgement would be another definition; to be understanding and compassionate are two more.

Can the mind and the personality learn to be in harmony?  The answer is no.  Both are constructs of one’s conditioning, trauma and wounds.  They are influenced by family and ancestral imprints.  In addition, each of them reflect roles and identities. They are more like masks and costumes we created as a means of survival and adherence.  So often, the two together create rigidity on many levels, preventing your trueness to blossom as they react with insecurities, self-doubt and internal judgement in those moments when you are expressing your heart, living your delight and feeling boundless.

Harmony is not an attribute nor can it be conceptualized.  It is not a principle.  Your true essence is harmony.  It is a continues breath, a never-ending flowing without any history or stories.  It is the is-ness of life, of the infinite, of Presence.  Harmony is stillness – no thoughts, no logic, not even language exist – only eternal and ever-expanding one-ness.

The mind and personality melt away, slowly but steadily and not in a linear fashion, when you continuously follow the deep yearning of your heart to be free again.  Become aware of your inner armors, the patterns of withholding and contractions, the many forms of pain ( rage is one of them), embrace whatever is emerging, stay with it and listen within.

Every time you connect with your breath, you connect with harmony.  However, harmony is not lifeless.  The ocean is a good example.  It is hyperfluid, just living beingness.  Yet, it can get stormy and wild.  Beingness is trueness without polarizing reactiveness or creating a story, only expressing what is in the now-ness.  Don’t expect to always smile…

Many known spiritual teachers and ordinary people remembered and realized the harmony that they truly are.  Their journeys cannot be copied, nevertheless they are an inspiration as well as a reminder that harmony is our inherent state of being.  It is the inhalation and exhalation of all that is and beyond.

Listen and trust your heart, let your moment be simple and breathe…..

  1. I have read this over several times, over the past few days. I feel an expansion in the area of my heart and greater space around me and in me. Words are insufficient to explain it. Thank you my dear friend.

  2. Dear Lisa, thank you for sharing your experience. I appreciate it. Much Love
